If you were looking to buy a home in a place like Mequon, Delafield or Franklin a few years ago but didn't think you could afford it, you may very well be able to do so now. Some buyers are quite surprised when they find out how affordable Mequon real estate is these days. It is actually possible to find a home priced less than $150,000! The same goes for Delafield real estate and Franklin real estate. Some condos in the Milwaukee area are seen as exceptionally good buys. Overbuilding created a high level of market saturation which created downward pressure on prices. In addition, lending guideline have exacerbated the problem.
